I saw this on the news. I felt rather sorry for the poor bees though, having to be relocated.

What a waste , all that honey . One wonders why the original nest didn't die out after the first summer ? maybe the queen thought this was a good enough home for another year , and save her house hunting

A shame they had to be relocated especially as it looked like it had been there causing nobody any problems for years!
