I spoke to a chap at yesterdays RHS Rosemoor Flower Show . He was concerned with all the pests arriving in the UK . Amongst the literature i was given is an excellent booklet re Tree Health Survey issued by OPAL . You can view online , read more information and finally submit your data Here's a link where you can get your Survey Pack . Take part if you can , especially if you have suspect plants or trees www.opalexplorenature.org/treesurvey

Aww that's very kind Julie , the more helping , the better . He had a lot of postcards depicting those insects responsible for all sorts of diseases , and large models of them ... colorado beetle disappeared now

Aww thanks Dave , i'm sure there'll be a few people interested in collecting data . It's up to us to keep our eyes open , and to buy British stock whenever possible

That's a great worry , Dave , and a threat to the White Letter Hairstreak It looks quite an easy one to ID if we see the evidence
